TOP 5 Cities in South East France!

The South of France is really well known for its beautiful surroundings and numerous

sceneries from the great vast ocean to the impressive high mountains. As you noticed

South of France is not that big, but this article will concentrate of South East France and

its famous villages and cities.

1. Nice

Nice is a coastal city in the South East of  France. It’s a family oriented city, there are a lot of

activities that you can do with your kids and friends. You can take a walk on the famous

Promenade des Anglais path with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. Another

funny and unique activity is to go canyoning! Canyoning is accessible to almost everyone

as long as you know how to swim and are in good shape. Canyoning Nice is a ludic

activity that will fill your trip with great memories.

2. Cannes

Cannes is THE city that’s really famous for the TV stars and art festivals. You should visit

Cannes during summer time when the city is fully awake. You will see cameras, stars,

and interviews on the streets: it’s like a smaller Hollywood for two weeks. If you’re not

coming during those times honestly don’t really bother visiting because you won’t see

anything interesting. Cannes is beautiful but keep in mind everything is quite expensive

so you might not want to stay long. But enjoy anyway.

3. La Ciotat

La ciotat is a really small, near the water, city town. Like the one you see in the movies

where everyone knows each other. La ciotat will surprise you with its clear water, funny

shops and delicious restaurants. It’s probably the only city where you are not actually

scared to put you head under water. Everything is quite pricy too, but nothing cost as

much as in the cities. It’s also a really fun town if you’re planning a trip between friends

with the goal to create lifetime memories.

4. Montpellier

Montpellier is a little treasure; it’s an old city where almost no cars are allowed in. All the

buildings are quite ancient with no elevators and lots of stairs. No need for the gym. The

city was built on the hills, so put on your walking shoes for the perks of the ups and

downs its offers. The city isn’t situated by the water but you can take a tram that will take

you there in thirty minutes. It’s a fun city to visit with a lot of smalls streets where you

will get lost and end up in some mysterious square place with a tiny coffee. Highly

recommend!

5. Saint Tropez

St Tropez or more commonly called St trop by the locals is the South East Ibiza. You go

there for a show off. You’ll spend too much money for a seat at the beach and a glass of

wine. The food and Alcohol prices are unacceptable for a lot of people. You go there when

you know you want to have a good time while not thinking about money at all. Totally

fair enough if you can afford it. Have fun!
